Post subject: Blending essential oils

How do you go about blending different oils together? How do you know how much to used of one oil to added to another oil. I tried blending last night and I don't think I did it correctly. I tried with cedarwood, sweet orange and lemon. Is this a weird combo?

Try
3 parts top note (citrus is a top note)
2 parts middle note
1 part base note (cedarwood)

The science and art of blending essential oils. I've just finished studying this part for my qualification exam. If going for a perfume effect, read up on top, middle and base notes. Just make sure to find out the maximum amount of each EO to use safely.

Soapbuddy: do you mean three drops for the first and so on? Do you mixed it all together?
