Teach Soap

Hi all made a batch last night of lavender and also a batch of rose. They both started to gel badly and the house was hot so put them in the garage. That is always very cold. After 2 hours brought them back in and they look ruined, they both have oil floating all over the top. Got up this morning and they are stil very soft to touch and oily but not so much oil on top. They took a long time to trace last night but did set in the moulds. I used coconut oil, palm, olive and usually those 3 oils are fine. I have made both soaps a few times . Thanks for any help in advance. I think quite a bit of money is heading for the bin!

Sounds like your soaps overheated. How much did you superfat? Have you used those fragrances before and are they soap safe?
