Er, Bad?

I made an online purchase a couple months ago, and the vendor sent me a goat milk soap freebie along with it. I know it's goat milk because they wrote me a lil note saying so. I haven't made goat milk (or any milk) soap before.

It smelled (smells) like mint. I kinda forgot about the sample because I was in the throes of making my own soap empire...and it has floated around the house since then.

Mmmmmkay. The soap resurfaced. It used to be a customary tan color. Now, one side is kind of pinkish, the other side is the same as it was when I received it. It seems the pinkish side is also the more minty side, so I ask myself...

Self, is this soap bad? Does pinkish = mold? Does pinkish just mean goat soap + fragrance? Self, what would Soap Queen Do?

SO? What do you guys think?

(and the only reason pinkish makes me think mold is because tofu gets eww that way...pink...)

That is strange.... how long have you had it floating around?

^^^Not long, maybe 6-8 weeks at the most...

Could it be that they tried to use red food coloring in CP which was killed by the lye and it is now starting to show up in the soap? I honestly don't know.
