Teach Soap

I am trying to figure out if this is just common for all gradient color design or is it just me that went a little too far with the blue .

Here is my blue gradient soap. It was my second attempt and I was so happy with the results



Today I tried this bar of soap and while I did not cover the sink with blue color, it sure came out in the suds and the water going down the drain. Did I get a little too carried away with my color? Is it possible to do a pretty gradient with no color coming off in the suds when you finally use the bar?

That's pretty! Unless I'm seeing my monitor wrong, it looks like you have some undissolved blue specks in the bottom layer.

Colour is one thing I know! It is exceedingly hard to get a nice bright colour that doesn't bleed into the lather. Nigh impossible! ALL of mine have coloured lather! Not enough to stain the tub or sink, but possibly a white cloth (especially darker colours like black and burgundy, those two are bad!). Colourful lather is the price you pay for a bright bar.

Thank you for the compliments! I guess I'll just have to accept my blue bath water for now!
There are a couple of small blue specks as well. I just need to work better at dissolving it prior to adding them in the soap!

So pretty! Maybe you could market them as color therapy soaps. Blue water is tranquil.

Those are so pretty I don't think anyone would mind a little bit of blue in the lather as long as it isn't strong enough to leave a blue ring in the tub. Great job....I gotta try ombre soap it's on my list.
