Teach Soap

Once the soap is made it will need to cure. Got it. I usually have it sitting on a rack...kind of like a dish drain rack thing-a-ma-jig. But after a while, I wonder, should I keep it on the rack? or can I put it in a box to finish the cure...as long as I leave a little room between bars that is. Or can I put them in a drawer of an old chest? I guess my question is, what is the proper or ideal environment to cure the soap? And will this curing environment have an affect on the soap?
Then how do you store the soap? Does everyone just have racks and racks of soap all over the place? or do they put them in boxes once they're wrapped/labeled?
And finally what do you wrap/label your soaps with? Does it have a waxy side that will keep from getting oil spots from the soaps? Or does that matter?
I suppose everyone starts wrapping/labeling after the 4-6 weeks of cure time?

I use baker's racks to fully cure the soap. Then it goes in storage boxes. When the soap sells, it goes into a soap box with a label.

What do you use for storage boxes? Cardboard box? Plastic box?

Irena, do you consider 6 weeks to be full cure (for non-castile soaps)? If not, what is the time-frame that you find appropriate (I realize this would vary, probably, according to how much of a water discount is used, right?)
