Did you look at the soap's ingredients? It supposedly has Sandalwood and Patchouli oils, but for their price, it's most likely fragrance oils. Here is the ingredient list:
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil,Wild Ginger (Mala Inchi),Lime (Narange) Oil,Caustic Soda,Chayam(Color),Soap Stone Powder,Chanrika Thilam,Chandrika Kashayam,Santalum Album (Sandalwood) ,Patchouli,Hydnocarpus Cactus,Ayurvedic Herbal Extracts
I'm sure that's not in order as using ginger in the second place and using lime oil as a third would make the soap very irritating and the lime oil would fade.

Since it's mostly coconut oil, I would think this bar would be pretty drying. Why not make your own instead and use ingredients that your skin might like?

yes i would make my own, probably adding olive oil as with all my own creations. i just wanted to see what people had as far as recipes so i could experiment. it's really the scent i would like to mimic. as for the original soap, it's far from drying and possibly my favorite soap from india. the Ayurvedic properties probably have a lot to do with this. soooo if anyone has any more clues im all ears! thanks again!
