Teach Soap

Tomorrow I'm plan on trying to make my first batch of laundry soap. I'd really like to use this as a chance to practice with colors and possibly swirls...but I'd rather not use the only two pigments I have on hand for laundry soap that will just be shreded. So I'm wondering what are some foody items I can use as colorants and how? Cocoa? Cinnamon? Kool aid...maybe? But that might stain...I know food coloring is a nono, but what about for laundry soap if its just a few drops? this is strictly personal use only.

Cocoa, Cinnamon and Kool aid will stain your laundry. For laundry soap I would not use any colors.

I'm with Irena on this one. I wouldn't use any colorants, even food coloring, for laundry soap.

Maybe I can scrape up enough oils to make a body soap...I just wish I had a good red coloarant for my wineberry scent, don't really wanna risk chillies in that....or even Micheal's sketchy looking dye. Payday needs to hurry up so I can make BB order and support my addiction.
