In your opinion what is the best oil or butter for superfatting and why?

In CP, it doesn't matter since you don't get to decide what oil superfats.
In HP at the end of cooking, I like avocado oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter & Safflower Oil. Not all in the same soap though.

Edited to add: I forgot Mango Butter. I love Mango Butter.

You can use any oil or butter you like. Make sure that you add all your oils and butters right up front. At trace, lye is still very active and it will take whatever it wants. There is no guarantee that any particular oil or butter will end up as your superfat.
