In all of the videos that I've seen about Hot Process soap making I've never seen anyone superfat their soap. Do you still have to superfat HP Soap? Also, how long (approximately) should the whole hot process take.

I've only made a few batches, but if you are talking about calculating in a percentage superfat then you still must do that. If you are talking about adding oils at the end so they aren't eaten by the lye, then I'm sure you'll hear opinions on both sides of the fence there. I tried holding my superfatting oil till the end of my most recent batch of castille HP soap because I infused it with Mugwort, but that turned into a brittle batch (for un-known not necesarrily superfatting related reasons) that I had to rebatch... twice... so I can't endorse it saying it worked. As for how long it takes, that has varied by hours from batch to batch I made.

Making 0% crock pot or hot process soap then adding any oil or butter at trace is not a safe way to make soap. Add everything right up front.
