Hi everyone,

I am getting ready to invest in a soap cutter, the one I have now is homemade and not very realible for size. Can you tell me what you use and pro's/con's on them ? There seems to be many different styles out there and I would like to get fellow soapers opinions !

I use a cheese slicer, a board with a handle and wire. One day I am gonna get a multi-bar cutter.......

I modified a mitre block and added a steel guitar string (top E). It works very well. Frankly I prefer this to using a mould.

I use the Tank from forcraftsake.com It would take me forever if I had to cut one soap at a time. Best investment I made.

I was going to get the soap cutter from BB, with the order I placed earlier this week... sadly, it was OOS

I have a feeling it would be "the best investment ever" in the soaping world.

for my candle business, my Presto Pot with spigot was the best investment, EVER.. I can't see myself working wax without it now.

There is a man on Etsy who makes similar soap cutters in two different bar thicknesses for around $140 each. I've heard very good things from other soapers about his cutters.

I too want the BB one, but its always out of stock when I look! I don't know what to ask for for Christmas.. the 18 or 36 bar slab, or a cutter. My birthday is the week before Christmas though! Maybe I can swing 2 things!!
