I want to try salt bars & have researched, most recipes say to use mostly coconut oil. Since coconut oil & salt are both drying what other oil would be good to use in addition to the coconut oil & at what percentage? tried to search "salt bars" but couldn't get anything to come up.

You can use your regular recipe and add salt to it.

Castor oil, Avocado oil & shea butter are great oils in salt bars.
My salt bars are 90% coconut oil & 10% of whatever other oil I feel like using that day.
The most important thing in making salt bars so they're not drying is the SF %. If you do a high coconut oil soap & only SF at 5%, then the soap's going to feel drying. But if you take that same recipe and up the SF to 20% or so, then it feels so much better.
