I'm thinking about putting in an order from BB soon and am considering trying out some micas. I've only tried them once before (I had some from Coastal Scents) and they morphed so haven't tried again since. But my daughter wants to try out some M&P soapmaking, so I thought I'd order some micas that could be used for both CP and M&P.
Any suggestions as to which ones to start with? I remember reading a few posts where people have mentioned using a mica or two and them commenting "that's my favorite", but I can't remember which micas they were talking about!

*just* micas? Hmm, I'd have to go look again and see what I got, because I tried a few of the oxide/ultramarines too. I do like the cappuccino mica and the shamrock green - they're really shimmery in MP and look nice in CP too.

The copper stays nice and shimmery in CP, I like the super pearly white too.

I like super pearly white, cappuccino, merlot, honey beige, yellow, 1982 blue, coral, aqua. I think most of them say in the desc if they will morph. You could always email BB for a list. Seems like I remember seeing one recently, but I could be thinking of something else.

Luster Black!! It has an awesome way of swirling the different tones of black and gray. I think I am falling in love with it.

I like the cappuccino , the copper is just gorgeous, & LOVE the way the cellini red morphs in CP, to a beautiful orangey coral colour.
I don't plan to bother finding any other colour for that shade! :D

Gotta get me some more! Did someone say shamrock green? This doesn't morph?

I just checked the BB site:
Shamrock green does NOT stay green in CP.
They no longer have the 1982 Blue mica.

The micas are so much fun! I love merlot, copper, coral, cappuccino, gold sparkle, and super pearly white. The patina sheen looks nice and immediately made me think of Mermaid Kisses. Of course I've also developed an iridescent glitter habit... Love the shinies!
