Teach Soap

Hi
I'm getting ready to re-bath olive oil soap from BB.

I'm doing the oven method. I'm putting the grated soap in an oven proof bowl. Can I cover this bowl with aluminum foil? To mash the soap up, do I use a mixer or a potato masher?
What is the best way to mash it up?

Do I mix my mica with alcohol or glycerin?

FO 5 ml a lb?

Since the soap has already saponified, go ahead and use aluminum foil. A pot with a lid would be preferable though. I don't think you will be able to use a mixer. it will be gloppy and thick. I haven't tried a potato masher, but that's a thought. I would mix your mica with glycerin, since the alcohol would evaporate too fast.

Any dishes I use I can reuse for food right? (after I clean them in the dishwasher )

Using aluminum doesn't apply to re-batch?

How would you mix it together?

If you don't have duplicates for your dishes, go ahead and use them. Be aware though that depending what you use and which fragrance you use, the scent might linger. I use a large metal spoon to mix rebatch with. Silicone utensils would be too soft. Maybe the harder, large plastic type spoons that people use with their teflon pans might also work.

Do I use vanilla stabilizer if my FO has vanilla in it?

I don't know what the percentage of vanilla is yet. I haven't really decided on a fragrance oil yet.
