I have done a few batches with regular OO and 2 with EVOO and the 2 with the EVOO are much lighter in color. I didn't change anything but that and they are very light in color.

I buy my olive oil from sams but have never seen pomace olive oil anywhere is it available at retail stores or just online?

I habe used both Pomace and EVOO. I didnt really notice a difference. I can buy a 1 gal can of pomace for $9.75 at our local restaurant supply warehouse.

Best part is its right down the street!

When they say pomace is made by using solvents....what *are* the solvents? And, how does that relate to the natural-ness of CP soap if you use OO or pomace?

Solvent always makes me think "turpentine" although I know it's not the same, lol!
