Teach Soap

I am going to try Ann Marie's shampoo bar recipe. I have a few questions... Any suggestions on if I should add some sweet almond oil or avocado oil? Do shampoo bars sell well? Do buyers prefer color in the bars or no color? Thanks!!

I made that recipe as written and it's really nice. I used Papaya Coconut FO. I didn't color it since the FO discolors to tan. So far my testers seem to like it.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I tried shampoo bars made as a CP soap. My hair does not care for it at all. It makes my thin blonde hair frizzy and it feels like straw, even with a vinegar rinse. My hair prefers handmade syndet bars.

my shampoo bars are my best seller - I did a lot of research to work out what oils were best for hair and then came up with my own recipe - all hair types seem to like it - from fine fizzy hair to thick hair. I have been using my bars on my hair since November last year and my hair is the best its ever been - my family wont use anything else now. Some people do find that you need to wash a few times before your hair gets used to the new soap and starts to look good.

Vivsoap, would you recommend me add sweet almond or avocado oil or both to the oils of olive, coconut, palm and castor?

is tea tree oil drying to the hair because that is what Ann Marie recommended in the recipe?
