What oils should I use to make a light color soap? I want to use BB Coconut F.O.

The lightest oils that you can find like coconut and olive. I could be wrong, but I believe their coconut FO discolors.

So you will need to choose another FO if you want white soap. The oils to use for whiter soap are: coconut, babassu, palm kernal oil, palm oil, castor oil, lard, mango butter, almond oil, kokum.

Just an idea...but if you already have a recipe you really like, why not add a little TD to whiten the batch for your coconut FO?

I have never used TD.. what percentage do you use if you are doing a 2 pound batch of soap
