My son has problem skin and I would like to make a soap for him. I have looked up charcoal, dead sea mud, clay and avocado oil as being good for the skin. Is Bentonite clay beneficial? Does anyone have a great problem skin recipe they could share with me please? :?:

I have TERRIBLE skin. It is dry, and I have eczema. My favorite recipe is the Nourishing recipe from the SoapQueen website. It contains many different oils, and I don't have the recipe in front of me, but it's great!

I would keep it simple. Make a pure castile soap with a small amount of lavender. Charcoal, dead sea mud or clay can be drying, which could make his condition worse. Avocado oil saponifies in CP soap, so you won't get much benefit from it, as soap is a wash off product.

You might try tea tree oil for the acne.
