Teach Soap

So, I have this problem. Looking at my icon you'll see a fluffy foxy looking chap. That's "me" in a way, meaning I do public mascot performing for my own enjoyment as well as at charity events. It comes with a few drawbacks. The suit itself is worn with a t-shirt and shorts, but the arms and legs are form fitting. Heat+Sweat+Motion+Fur Backing leave me with patches of heat rash that won't go away between my adventures as a cartoon animal. Any good base oil mixtures I could make for my own personal use that might help this problem? I've studied herbal medicine for almost a decade and Calendula and or Comfrey in olive oil only seem to make the rash hotter, itchier, and a good deal oilier. Does anyone else get these under... similar conditions? The two patches I have now are on the inside of my left elbow, and the inside of my right knee. Once a spot starts it spreads and self perpetuates. Performing at the fireworks last night has really flared it up and even my own mild soap seems to make it feel irritated coming out of the shower.

Also, if you're curious as to why the heck I have this crazy hobby, I love to share.

Speaking from experience, plain cornstarch on the affected area works better than anything, particularly if used prior to putting the costume on.

Seeing as none of these solutions are CP related I feel kinda stupid for posting it on this board, but I am very grateful for the advice! Right now I'm in the "absorb all cp knowledge evah!" stage of manic soaping. If my car broke down I'd wonder if there was a soap that could fix it.

Oh yes, yes we can! Soap fixes everything, and everything is usable for soap SOMEHOW. You'll be amazed at what you start seeing as molds. I bought candy just for the little plastic tub it came in.

And the colors you see around you everyday.....will turn into potential soap ideas. Tonight I was looking at my plate during dinner and thought how beautifully the pickled beet juice and white sauce from my chicken swirled together and wondering how I could get that look in soap.....

Try plain rice powder for the heat rash and take an oatmeal bath when you get home.

Make a cream with 25% aloe vera extract , 10% calendula extract. (all extracts water based)
That will fix the problem in no time.
