When they say mix your colors with oil first than add your batch of cold pour soap to the color and mix it...I'm talking about swirling right now. What oils do you mix them with, some of the oil that is in your recipe? or just like a sweet almond oil? But wouldn't that change your recipe calculations?

Colors with a little bit of oil won't affect your total recipe. If you are using ultramarine, that's better dissolved in water, oxides in oil and micas with a little bit of glycerin.

Thank you. When you say oils, what kind specifically? It can be any like jojoba, sweet almond etc...?

You can also use a small amount of glycerin. I do this for all of my colours, mostly because I can never remember which are soluble in oil and which need water. :lol:
