What are the best natural colorants for cold process soapmaking? I want my product to be as natural as possible. I've tried the LabColors, and while I like them, I don't want to use them because they aren't natural. Is there such a thing as a good, all natural, colorant for cold process?

You could use paprika, turmeric, cocoa powder, calendula, oils infused with alkanet, annatto seeds, madder root, indigo, etc.

yes in the picture, in the second row - the second and fourth from the left are colored with woad...you can see how it reacts differently with different soaps. The second one in is a coconut sea salt soap and the fourth in is a goat's milk soap. Woad does fade over time but I still like it b/c of pretty blues/greens it makes...even thought they become muted.

Wow, that is a NICE bright blue! I love it!! Is the pale pink bar in the bottom row from pink clay? That's the exact pink I've been trying to achieve!

yes - the pink is from the rose clay.
yep the woad is expensive...but a little goes a long way. The indigo is better bang for the buck...the color lasts and does not morph...stays true blue. Here is my Indigo soap (don't think this one is in that picture).
