By "this" I mean that thin, black line. I've seen it in several soaps, and I just can't seem to make it happen! Anytime I set aside a little of my mixture to color and then pour, it always ends up being far too much. To anyone who does this, can you give me some tips?! Thanks, guys!

It's called a pencil line. There's a few posts around the boards about it. Basically it's a light sprinkling of cocoa powder (generally, although you can also use poppy seeds, mica, etc) in between layers

Your welcome :) Just don't do too thick a line as it can stop your layers adhering.

This subject has just inspired me to post another picture with the same question.
How can I make colour go up to the layer above? How to get these vertical lines?
I tried to do it myself, but didn't make it.
So,any tips?
(this is 'puro soap' design and I love it)

That vertical up swirl can be done by taking a coat hanger or wire (not aluminum) and bending it to the length of your mold. After you've poured your layers, take your coat hanger and slide it down the side of the mold all the way to the bottom. Gently move the coat hanger towards the center of the mold and slowly lift it up. Just keep doing that as much as you want.

Yup - coathanger swirl. You can also move the coat hanger up and down to get swirls both ways.
