Well, it's not as bad as what I inially thought, now that you changed the Crisco amount, not that I'm super duper experienced. According the the lye calculator that I used, you are about an ounce shy on the lye.

I've never tried rebatching and I don't know if it would work if there initially isn't enough lye.

Have you tried any of the recipes on the teachsoap.com site? Everyone pointed me to the Shaving Soap as a good place to start.
