I have an apple 3D mold. I just made my first batch with it. It is in 2 halves, and in order to make the whole apple, I will have to piece together to 2 halves. Any ideas on how best to do that? Should I do it right when I take it out of the mold? I was thinking about making another batch of soap, and coloring a small portion of it with the same colorant I used to make the apples and essentially "painting" it to the inside of each half and putting them together that way. Then using some of that same fresh soap to "paint" the seam. Any suggestions?

I duct tape mine and make a hole at the top to pour into.

Unfortunately, that won't work for this mold. It's an apple and it's a top and a bottom. Any other ideas?

I would be concerned that if you 'glued' them as soon as someone started to use the soap they would come apart.

Gluing them together isn't going to work. Tried it . . . fail.
Drill a hole like soapbuddy suggested.

So, I drilled a hole from top to bottom, and made it a soap on a rope. The rope is a thin brown twine so it appears to be the stem! It turned out really cute actually.

I can try. I'm not very technologically savvy though. I'll give it a shot tomorrow! Thanks for the interest.
