Is there any reason why not to use Soybean oil in CP? seems it has nice conditioning properties, and besides, it is very cheap. do I miss anything?

You can use it, but not in large % as it can create a soft soap.

I use it. Like Irena said, use it in small percentages because it can contribute to a soft soap but in high amounts it is also more prone to dos.
