Teach Soap

I know I asked this before and you are all getting sick of me, but I am trying to put together a list to order of colors (non bleeding) I want to make a big batch off all different colors swirl soap. I just can't (maybe it's my adhd...Lol) but there are some mica's that don't bleed, some pigment's but you have to mix them first with something I think, the non bleeding colors seem to be for only M&P soap. Isn't there a way or a place I can go and it lists all the non bleeding colors for CP? Sorry to be so ignorant. I have been on the site for hours reading everyone and than when they get to me I will just have to look them up again and label what is for what.

Brambleberry.com has about three and a half pages of non-bleeding colorants to choose from (yay!). Just head over there, hover over "Colorants" on the left-hand side and move over and click on "Non-Bleeding Colorants" at the bottom of that new menu that'll come up. Soap Buddy talked about (today I think?) how to tell if pigments are water or oil soluble. On Soap Queen TV Anne Marie did a Soap Queen Short on how to dilute the neon colorants (all non bleeding) in glycerine or a carrier oil, like sweet almond or jojoba oil. And, bonus, their titanium dioxide (one of my faves) is oil *and* water soluble, which makes it that much more flexible. They offer pretty good descriptions of how they behave/if they're suitable for cold process soap. You can also email or call customer service for more informatino about anything they offer. I've always found their customer service team to be especially awesome

OK THAT'S GREAT....1 question though, if you mix the colors with a carrier oil do you have to add that to your recipe or it won't change it because it's so little that you use to mix it with. And when they say carrier oil is there a certain one that is best or better to use?

You don't account for the little oil (or glycerin or water) that you would use to mix the colors with. For cold process soap and one color, you don't need to pre-dilute micas. For carrier oil, pretty much any oil will do.
