Hello All, I think I did something wrong on my HP soaps. I did 2 batches of soaps today 1 with fragrance and non scented. Well When I took it out of the molds I had a stinky smell. I used 1/2 water to dissolve the lye and after that cooled to 110 I added the other half liquid(fresh goats milk). After I let it cook on slow,thickened and did the ZAP test and no zap. I thought it was ok,but like I said above fowl smell after taking it out of the molds.
Did I let it cook too long or not enough?

I am so frustrated with this.

This is normal for goats milk soap. It does dissipate though! It is a fowl smell huh?

It's the milk. Just give it some time. That smell willl go away as the soap cures.
