LOVE the smell, thanks Dave! I tried for green and blue throughout the loaf but the scented part seized on me, smells great and should be good soap, just not so pretty. Can sodium lactate cause this? Or was it likely from the FO? The FO ate the cup I put it in a little bit, so could be that too. Oops? Couldn't remember if Dave said there was 1.5 or 2 oz, and didn't realize it would eat a plastic cup!

A lot of FO\EO will melt the plastic cups. I made this mistake once. Now I use glass shot glasses. They are very easy and cheap to pickup at a thrift store.

I haven't used Dragon's Blood for a long time, but I don't remember it seizing. Never put any fragrance or essential oil in a plastic cup! Only glass or stainless steel. I believe I used 0.7 oz. per lb. of soap.

I have used dragon's blood twice... one time did a little bit of overheat, but the next time I left it out on the counter, just slightly covered and it behaved very well. But it is the darkest of any brown I have ever gotten without adding color.

Blarg, glad I checked it before bed. It was trying to overheat on me! Now it's in my fridge chilling out. Will soooo have to try this FO again, I really love it! Less dissolved plastic might make it soap better huh? Even if it will always misbehave for me I'll soap it again!

And if you look long enough you can find ones that hold a double shot... thats at least two ounces! My DH collected shot glasses for awhile and then grew tired of it... so I had a build in supply to use.

Well, its cut! I need to clean it up before I take pics though. The cheese cutter I got at BB&B for $12 did a HORRIBLE job! The cuts are ragged and crooked. :x It is now a dark chocolate brown with green and blue in it, oddly there are halos around the colours, like the vanilla content couldn't discolour that area. It looks cool though! Will try and get it cleaned up tomorrow after I do battle with the vacuum (if you own a keeshond, don't also own carpet... it SUCKS).
