Hello everyone. I've been lurking in the shadows for a while and enjoy the discussions on the forum. I've been making CP soap for about 12 years now and find it's a very rewarding hobby. I have a background in BioChemistry and wanted a hobby commensurate with my profession. So it was either making soap or crack. I decided on the soap.

Hope I can contribute to the forum with what moderate knowledge I have and pick up tips from members more experienced than myself. I'm a son, a brother, a boyfriend and a soap "nut" and it's a pleasure to be here.

My friends call me Sven.

Hi Carolynp. Yes, I understood the joke and love NPR. Unfortunately, I was the only man in a household of women growing up. Pretty much still that way now.

bubbles: I'm glad I chose soap over crack also. Although I would bet that crack pays much better.

Actually you have that wrong. The price YOU may end up paying is not worth it, I know ( I work in both a prision and a drug treatment center!).
