High-oleic sunflower. Much cheaper than olive oil. From soapcalc:

Shelf life of rice bran oil is what, 3 months? I haven't had any problems with sunflower. Hardness? Depends how much you use.

I got DOS with sunflower oil. Didn't get one with rice bran. I guess it depends what other oils you use.

I know of a soaper who was in a 1 oil soap swap and she put her soaps out in the garage and many months later she checked the RBO soap for me and said no DOS. I've used it a lot and never gotten DOS with it. Some of my sample bars that I've kept are 3 years old.
