I work for a hair salon - I would advise no.

the process of hair coloring is two step in which the original color is lifted via peroxide (devoloper) and deposited via ammonia (color). Ammonia is contained within the hair colorant itself - therefore you would have soap with ammonia combines with NaOH = ammonium hydroxide, the cleaning agent found in common oven cleansers. Even though you may only use a few drops of the colorant who knows what kind of chemical volcano could arise.

Yes there are non- ammonia colorants and perhaps you are talking about one, in this case the alkalyser is MEA instead of ammonia. Not a great choice either to combine with NaOH.

I would stick with colorants approved for soap and body products.

If you want bright blue, go with soap safe colorants. Hair colorants have other chemiocals that would not play well with lye. Hair colorants are NOT made for soap.
