A while ago I bought some macadamia wax, i think i bought it to make lip balm which i never actually got around to making. Anyway, I have no other use for it, could i use it in soap and if so, what benefits would it have? I have found info about macadamia OIL but not wax.

If it's what I have seen online it's macadamia oil in hydrogenated vegetable oil, like soybean. I would make a small soap batch and use the SAP value of soybean oil. It would have a label appeal, but I don't think it would add much of anything else.

bummer, i have about 500grams of it so i was hoping it would have some sort or benefit! i will experiment this weekend with it, thanks

Here's a thought, how about a whipped body butter? That way it won't get saponified.
