Teach Soap

Hi everyone-- From time to time I've been asked to donate soaps for auction fundraisers. I'm always happy to do that but I seem to have trouble with the packaging. I've tried baskets with shrink rap, decorative plates, tiles, etc. but no matter what I do, it's still just soap. I'd like to put something cutesy with it- and i just can't come up with anything. I've even tried putting them in a bag with tissue which works great if you're giving a gift but it's not much of a presentation. I'm not too crazy about liquid soap or bath bombs, I just love soap! I'd appreciate any and all ideas. Thank you.

How about a body sponge, a bath pouf, an exfoliating glove, a facial brush or a bath brush?

I have been putting together little gift sets of 1 bar of soap with a cedar soap dish & a handmade washcloth - all tied together nice & neat with raffia.

I did some decorative gift boxes for Christmas with 3 bars of soap, a bottle of lotion and a handmade washcloth. I nestled the items into shredded crinkly paper that I got from the dollar store.

If you wanted to go in another direction you could include a romance novel, some chocolates and if you are wanting a big hit how about a bottle of austi??

Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

I did holiday gift bags, and put in soap, a lip balm, a lotion bar, and a body balm. They sold really really well. So if you do a few other things, maybe mix it up?
