Teach Soap

I'm thinking of making this soap, would it be correct in using half goats milk and half water for dissolving the lye and then saving a small part of this to dissolve the honey and adding at a light trace. Do I then add the oatbran after this and will I need a preservative, if so, what should I use? Thanks for reading

Dissolve your lye in minimum water required. Then use the goat's milk as the rest of your liquid. You need very little to mix with the honey, so whether you take the water amount from the water needed or not, should not make much of a difference. Add you oats at a medium trace so they will stay suspended. Due to high pH of handmade soap, no preservative is needed.
