Teach Soap

Here's a picture of a sample of soap stamped with my new stamp. I got it from Soap Impressions, great company and customer service! Our name is Troo Soap. The oo's represent the infinity symbol with a leaf. As in infinitely natural and botanical. What do you guys think? Go easy on me, I worked hard on that design.

Yes it will. Here is a sample of my tag for a Eucalyptus /Tea Tree recipe that I will be producing. For packaging, I'm opting to drill a hole in the corner quadrant of the bar and attach the label with hemp rope. I will also shrink wrap 2/3 of the bar.

Thank you Irena. I guess I'm all in now. I bought all the equipment, I've designed the logo and the business name and identity. I've bought the stamp. Now it's time to get my soaping on!

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

That is a gorgeous stamp, I love it.

I like it as well! I do not sell but that does not mean I would not like a logo. I doodle and doodle and nothing seems right. If you have not started on the soaping part yet you should soon. It can take some time to develope a recipe or two and test them out. Hope all goes well for you.

Thanks all for the kind words. And no I haven't started actually making soap yet. That begins in the next couple weeks. I have been reading and studying and learning as much as I can about the properties of the oils, and butters and their benefits to help me determine what I want to offer up in way of product. And I can't even count the number of videos I've watched and blogs that I've read. Anne Marie (Soap Queen TV) and Bonnie from Edentia Farms are two of my favorite teachers.

Also, I work in Marketing, so I'm driven to make sure that I have a proper identity that will help build brand equity. And by getting as knowledgeable as I can I feel more confident that I will be competent enough to trooly formulate a line of product that will be something people remember and want to buy again and again. Also, know that I don't have any misconceptions about the benefit of hands-on experience and experimenting. I don't plan on jumping to the market with the first batch. But, I do expect that my first batch is going to be a lot less intimidating than had I started 3 months ago.

I want to thank Brambleberry and all of you for this open forum and the vast amount of knowledge here. What a great community! Trooly great.
