Teach Soap

Hey there...so I have a small bottle of Jasmine Absolute (in jojoba oil) - .5oz. Wondering if would be worthwhile to put it into CP soap? I realize the scent would be light but I only ever very lightly scent my soap anyway. Thoughts?

You can use it, but the scent will be very light since it's already diluted in jojoba.

Would that be the same as for rose absolute (5%)? I bought a bottle, and havent used it yet - I was wondering if I should use the same volume of it as I would any other EO?

I would save either for a nice facial serum that stays on the skin instead of a wash off product that goes down the drain. Those absolutes (even diluted) aren't cheap.

Well, I havent branched out into facial serums (yet!), but the cost of the diluted absolute was about the same (per volume) as patchouli, so Im not too bothered about the cost.....

Adam - my thoughts exactly...the jasmine absolute in jojoba cost about the same as patchouli eo. So I just made rose clay soap and used 1/4 oz. of the jasmine absolute in jojoba in my 4 lb. batch. The soap gelled and so far the smell is really nice. I hope it lasts!
