Does anyone add vegetable glycerin to their soap recipes?

I have seen a few bars for sale with this listed as an ingredient and I have also found it available on soaping sites for purchase...yet I have not found a lye calculator with it listed...yet...

I'm not sure CP soap would need an additional humectant added but just wondering if anyone has any experience and advice :)

Soap makes its own glycerin so there isn't really a need to add it.

I was thinking the same thing as Susie. I usually mix my powdered oxides and micas with a bit of glycerin first to work out the clumps. Maybe that's what they're doing, too. :)
