Teach Soap

Sooo I'm still in Montreal after my visa interview, visiting my family here. I hear from Mom that there are MULTIPLE boxes of soap making goodies at home waiting for me! Now I just need to plan what batches to make next, this is where I'm hoping you folks can help me I was hoping a few of you would share your favorite recipes with me so I can see what everyone else likes to use! I have about 100 recipes in a book at home, but most have 3 or 4 exotic oils and butters that I'd rather not buy right now, I can't even pronounce some of the names! I figured picking your guys' brains would be better anyhow!

If you want to go simple, try 100% coconut with 20% superfat.

Well, after two years I still do not have a "favorite" recipe. That may be because I do not sell my soap. I mostly use the trinity soap that is adjusted with castor oil and a butter. Every batch I make starts out in soap calc and a list in my head of what I have on hand. Like right now we are finally getting some snow, so tomorrow I will make snowflake soap using this new snow!
