So, I'm thinking of popping a batch of 100% Castile soap in the oven to gel (after some recommendations to do so from some of you lovely forum folk

). Just to make sure I do this properly, I'd like to run by you what I 'THINK' I should do, so you can tell/correct me on what I SHOULD be doing, please.
Preheat oven to 75C (170F).
After I have poured my soap into the mould (which is a wooden one) I pop it uncovered into the oven.
Leave the oven on for 2 hours, then turn it off.
Leave everything in the oven for 24 hours, then check to see if it can be taken out of the mould and cut. (As a beginner, I will probably use full water amount)
Is it ok to put my mould on a metal oven tray while it's in the oven?
Thanks in advance for the help and advice!
