What is the best way to soap with coconut milk as the liquid? Freezing it?

kindly elaborate why freezing of coconut milk, due to the sugar content?
if in frozen cubes, like GM, add lye pearls directly on top of the frozen cubes?

I freeze my coconut milk in an ice cube tray. I weigh out the frozen cubes for my water. I pour my lye beads directly over the frozen cubes. I also have on hand/ already prepared an ice bath to float the lye solution into if needed to cool the lye and keep the milk from burning. Others more experienced take an amount of milk to be used and pour it liquid into their soap pot after the lye has been added to the oils. HTH

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Okay, I'm confused too. Is the milk going to make the mixture explode or something if you use it at room temperature?

There are times when I add my lye to cold milk, not frozen. I will do this to use it as a colorant when I want cream colored or tan. I have just recently switched to powdered goats milk, mostly due to the convience of being able to store it. Coconut milk is easier as I get it in cans.

I do the same as mella..pour the lye beads over the frozen milk, and I have my pitcher in an ice bath too.
