Teach Soap

kind of urgent cause I dont have internet access at home, Im at work now!

I made a batch of olive oil and castor oil soap, and put it in the freezer, took it out two days ago, took off the saran wrap and its still sitting in the mold because its quite soft yet. I dont think I could cut it into bars just yet.

I got a phone call from home just now.... your soap looks like its got powered sugar on the top.

I realize it could be ash, or lye pockets but could it be mold? If it is moldy what should I do?

The pH of soap is high enough to inhibit bacteria. It's most likely ash.
