Teach Soap

I'm supposed to be coming up with test batches for some new formulations. I just got sweet almond oil, mango butter, and beeswax this week. I'm so distracted! It's not like those oils are going to be a large portion, just an accent. I know I just ranted about someone calling soap, shea butter soap with just a tad. I'm not planning on calling it mango butter soap.

Rework your recipe to add 1% beeswax and 5% mango butter. I don't use almond oil in soap as it can make the soap soft.

Yea, I'm thinking of using the almond oil in a lotion or pre-shave oil. I think I bought those ingredients while dreaming of making a lotion bar.

I was just looking at the single oil soap swap again. The almond oil bar scored a 5 (out of 5) for hardness.
Soapcalc.net gives it a 7 (out of 100). I'm starting think we need to do a single oil soap swap again just for scientific purposes of course.

I know Emily and myself were interested in trying out the single oil soap experiment ourselves. The tough part with multiple people making the various bars is getting the soaps made under the same conditions for a true experiment. Like, each made with the same liquid/lye ratios, distilled water, and same superfat %.
