Teach Soap

I want to do a honey oatmeal soap and just recently purchased a gallon of pomace olive oil, which is green in color, more so than the other olive oil I have been using (Bertolli 100% olive oil) that is the color of sunflowers.

Im curious how the end product might look with the green olive oil. Any thoughts?

Oh I should add that the rest of my oils are coconut oil and vegetable oil, both very white!

I've been using EVOO lately because it's less expensive (go figure!) than pomace, but when I was using pomace my soap really didn't have a green or yellow cast to it. Some of them turned out a very light cream color. You'll probably need to make a small test batch to find out what it does.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I would make a plain batch and see how the color cures out. Some of them do end up with a yellowish green tint.
