Teach Soap

So as I am on a tight budget this year I don't want to buy a couple things and experiment. For colors I usually use mica, I like it, and find it easy to use and don't usually get picky with my colors but I want try make Christmas gifts for the fam this year and was hoping to avoid mistkes. my red mica is red in cp but my blue is purple so has anyone tried one of BB green micas and is it green in cp? Do you have a darker green cp you can recommend or would I be better going with different type like liquid color if so then whats the dilution process and how much do you need for 500g batch?

For green, I would go with green oxide.

I agree with soapbuddy.... I love using the green oxides. Have never been disappointed in the color.
I have a question- what blue mica are you using? I have a light blue mica and need lavendar\purple colored soap.... I just e-mailed BB to see if this is the one that morphs, do you know? I am thinking I will need to order from BB soon as some stock is getting low.

The blue Celini it's a bright purple but when I add silver lightens to lavender. Good luck thanks for the info girls.

I have a gorgeous emerald green mica that morphs to gray in CP

I use green oxides and really like them. I do have a chrome green that tends to accelerate trace for some reason...whenever I use it I get everything else done first and then rush like crazy when I add the green!
