So, I got this idea that maybe I could top a soap of mine with a layer of whipped soap, to give it a foam look. I did a little research, but here's the thing. I don't want to make the whole bar whipped. Just the top. I was wondering if normal soap, without any special changes, could be whipped once its at trace, and have a similar effect? Anyone experimented with it at all, or is the low-temp, high coconut oil the only way to go?

You can make the bottom with regular CP and the top with whipped soap a la Nizzy. http://nizzymoulds.com/Whipped/index.htm
