I superfat with the luxury oils/fats at trace to retain the benefits to your skin. My understanding has always been that if you mix it with your other oils you only get a fraction of the benefit.

Just FYI-
I have read some experiments done on the whole supperfatting issue and the chemist who did the testing found that adding up ALL of your oils and adding them at the same time and then backing out your Lye discount had the same results as adding extra oils/butter at trace.
He seems to think that the lye will get to and eat-up any oils/butters just the same, no matter when you add them.
I started doing it that way and have noticed no difference in the quality of my soap - it's just way less stuff to deal with at trace.
