Teach Soap

Sadly........and I am being serious not sarcastic, I don't have dairy goats anymore. To make a goat milk soap would I buy milk in the dairy section of the store or in the canned milk section?

You would most certainly find canned goat's milk, but I don't know if your local grocery carries fresh goat's milk.

My local stores carries both. Which would be best?

I use powdered.

I've only used what I've been able to find in the dairy case, so I can't compare the fresh to the canned. But i've been happy with the results I've gotten from the dairy case variety.

I am trying to hunt down someone with dairy goats. Seems lots of folks want to sell the goats, not the milk.

You might have better luck getting someone to sell the milk if you start out telling them that you make soap and are wondering if they would sell you a little for soap making. It is illegal for them to sell it for human consumption so a lot of people won't talk about selling it at all for any purpose unless they "know" the person or is a friend of a friend. But if you actually have abandoned puppies or are using it for soap, they will probably be more willing to talk.
