Teach Soap

Hi soapers!
I'm back and as usual with a question or two he he

Yesterday I went to this bakery supply shop in hopes of finding cool silicone molds for my soap.
I didn't find any BUT I found a whole section of the shop devoted to food coloring. They had tons of liquid colorants which I've been told don't work as expected on CP soap. Some of them said they had to be dissolved in alcohol so I guess that's a no no for CP soap.

What caught my eye was that they had a whole shelf filled with little jars of powdered colors for fondant. To me they looked like micas or those little eyeshadow powders they sell in bottles, some where shimmery. They didn't have a label that said what they were.

Has anyone used fondant powder colorants for CP soap? I assume these are not natural or are they?

Oh another thing, they had edible glitter.....can this be used in cp soap? I mean if it's safe to ingest it, it has to be safe to rub it on your skin right?

Fondant colors are most likely FD&C colors, but they weren't made for soap. You would be better off getting LabColors for Brambleberry. No, they are not natural. Things that are safe to ingest are not always safe for the skin. I would pass.
