Since the thread is now missing, (which don't mind, I am just grateful for the forum being up again! yea

) I thought I'd update you all. As you may recall I had two bad nights in a row of soaping. The first night I [may have] left out 5% of the oils, so, on the advice of SoapBuddy, I decided to cut it up and use it as an imbed, and on the advice of onmysoapbox, I kept most of it to cure and hope that it will be a bar that some like, even if it is only a 3% sf.
So the next night I set out to make a batch of cotton blossom soap with lavender imbeds, thinking I was sooo vary smart! But, as soon as I added the FO I had instant soap on a stick, then it began jumping out of the pot faster than I could scoop it into the mold. The top of it looked terrible and was extremely dry. And, again I was very frustrated with the gremlins. However, when I cut the cotton soap it looked very nice on the inside, so now I think it will be okay. Today then, I rebatched what I managed to get off the counter the other night (good thing for me I had clean counters!

) , and it is currently in the 12 bar silicone mold from BB. It looks kind of ugly on the top, but not nearly as ugly as the original, and its not flaky either, so I guess I will see when its ready to come out of the mold. Here is the cut soap on a stick soap, not too bad, is it? I will put pics of the rebatched ones up as soon as it is unmolded.
