Teach Soap

I have made 2 batches of CP soap. The first batch stuck to the plastic mold and I thought that was what made it have the grainy texture. However, after 3 weeks of curing, I broke a bar in two and it is grainy all the way through. Also, the bar feels quite spongy. Any ideas on what might be the cause? It checked ok for the "tongue test" and I used a bar to wash my hands just to see and it felt wonderful. It's just ugly. The second batch is worse. I would like to post a pic but do not know how yet. Any ideas?

What was your recipe? Did it have any shea in it? Soap should not feel spongy after three weeks. Did you check for accuract of your scale?
