Before I start one more question.Inside my stainless pot, I purchased from the thriftstore, I saw a little chip came of....
bummer.Can I still use it???

if the pot is completely stainless it shouldnt chip off i dont think.

it said stainless steel looks like it too.

I have never seen stainless steel chip off, but I dont think I would use it, in any case. Just doesn't sound like a good idea to me, better safe than sorry.

If it's chipped it's not true stainless steel. I would wait til you get another pot to soap in. You don't want to ruin your batch and waste your ingredients.
